Off the south side of S-22/Borrego Salton Sea Way, a mile or so past the airport, there’s a small sign for Font’s Point and a sandy area that looks more like an unstable parking lot than a road to one of the most magical sites in Southern California. When you see it, take it. It’s four miles of a slight climb up a very sandy road until you reach the actual parking area. The view is breathtaking every single time.

Once of these times I want to get up there before the sun rises and see what that looks like from the other direction.
Go, make, do.
